About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Lawyer Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert legal advice, manage complex corporate transactions, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks. As a trusted advisor, you will draft and negotiate contracts, mitigate risks, and safeguard the company’s legal interests, making this a dynamic and strategic opportunity to influence impactful business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Law: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including sales agreements, joint ventures, service agreements, and shareholder agreements.
• Corporate Law: Provide guidance on corporate structures, governance frameworks, board procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Manage the legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures, including due diligence, deal structuring, and regulatory approvals.
• Dispute Resolution: Oversee legal disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation while advising on risk mitigation strategies.
• Regulatory Affairs: Stay ahead of regulatory changes, ensuring the company’s compliance and advising on best practices.
• Intellectual Property: Safeguard and manage the company’s intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
• Corporate Governance: Advise the board on governance matters, policies, and internal controls.
• Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop proactive strategies to minimize exposure.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB or JD).
• Experience: 7+ years in corporate/commercial law, ideally within a law firm or multinational company.
• Professional Qualification: Licensed to practice law.
• International Expertise: Experience in international transactions and familiarity with global regulatory frameworks.
